What is Myofunctional Therapy?

Children grow and develop in unique ways. Myofunctional therapy helps identify and address oral muscle and habit patterns that may influence breathing, sleep, facial development, and overall oral health. Early intervention can make a meaningful difference.

Could this be your child?

  • Mouth breathing

  • Crowded teeth

  • Snoring

  • Frequent congestion

  • Speech concerns

  • Difficulty chewing or swallowing

If several of these sound familiar, an evaluation can help identify whether oral muscle function is contributing.

A note from a Mom

When our daughter was born, I had no idea that something as small as a tongue tie could affect so many things: her breathing, her sleep, her ability to eat comfortably, and even how her jaw and face were developing.

We were so tired. She was restless at night, always congested and just didn’t seem like herself. After getting her tongue tie released and learning the right exercises and habits, everything started to change. Her sleep improved, she breathed better, ate better, and became a happier little girl.

That experience opened my eyes to how many families struggle with the same challenges, often without knowing there is help.

Now, as both a therapist and a mom, I’m passionate about helping other children get the support they need early, so they can avoid unnecessary challenges and grow up healthy, strong and confident.

With care, Karla
